Terms of Service
These draft terms explain the operating boundary of the Rural Coimbatore pilot: doctor-supervised AI intake, physician review before patient instructions, and clear emergency exclusions.
This is a launch-ready draft for the pilot, not final legal advice. Review with counsel before broad public rollout.
Service Scope
AI Clinic is a doctor-supervised clinical intake and drafting tool. It helps collect patient history, organize uploaded medical records, and prepare draft clinical summaries and draft prescriptions for physician review.
The service is not an emergency response system, ambulance service, hospital, pharmacy, or substitute for in-person examination when urgent care is required.
Medical Boundary
Patients must not treat AI-generated intake prompts or draft analysis as a final diagnosis or final prescription. Only physician-approved instructions shown in the patient portal are intended for patient use.
If emergency symptoms are present, including severe chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, fainting, stroke-like symptoms, heavy bleeding, seizures, or sudden confusion, the patient must seek urgent in-person care immediately.
Eligibility And Use
The service is intended for patients, caregivers, and clinic staff who provide truthful, non-fraudulent information for legitimate care coordination.
Users must not upload malicious files, impersonate another person, probe security controls, or use the service to obtain unsafe medication advice without physician review.
Patient Responsibilities
Patients are responsible for providing accurate symptoms, medication history, allergies, pregnancy or lactation status when relevant, and contact details sufficient for follow-up.
If a patient chooses to omit information, AI Clinic may be less accurate or may recommend physician review rather than a strong conclusion.
Uploads And Clinical Records
Patients may upload PDFs and images of records for clinical interpretation support. The clinic may use automated text extraction and vision models to summarize those records for physician review.
Uploaded records remain part of the clinical encounter history and may be retained according to clinic recordkeeping, legal obligations, safety review needs, and operational backup requirements.
Privacy And Security
The service handles sensitive personal and health information. The clinic applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Detailed privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy and Patient Consent pages, which form part of these terms.
Operational Availability
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, model-provider outages, infrastructure failures, or safety interventions. AI Clinic may limit, delay, or refuse automated processing when confidence is low or risk is high.
The clinic may change workflows, models, and safety controls to improve patient safety, reliability, or legal compliance.
Liability And Warranty Limits
This draft is intended for pilot use and must be reviewed by counsel before broad commercial rollout. The service is provided on an as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms limits duties or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.
Governing Law
These terms are intended to operate under the laws of India. For the Rural Coimbatore pilot, operational governance is expected to be managed from Tamil Nadu, subject to any mandatory legal forum requirements.
If you disagree with these terms, do not use the service.
